Tell your doctor or pharmacist if
• You are using any antibiotics (used to treat infections) or muscle relaxants. Some of these medicines may increase the effect of Botox
• You have recently been injected with a medicine containing Botulinum toxin (the active substance of Botox), as this may increase the effect of Botox too much
Pregnancy and breast feeding
The use of Botox during pregnancy is not recommended. Botox is not recommended in breast-feeding woman. If you are pregnant or breast-feeding your baby while using this medicine, please consult your doctor, pharmacist or other health care professional for advice
Post Botox (Botulinum toxin) treatment instructions
The aesthetic effects of Botox last for an average 3-4 months but will vary depending on the condition of the skin, area treated, amount of project injected, injection technique and lifestyle factors such as sun exposed and smoking.
After treatment, please avoid extreme facial expressions, alcohol consumption, applying make-up for 12 hours and do not rub or message the treated areas for 24 hours after your treatment. Do not lie down or do strenuous exercise for 4 hours after the treatment and please also avoid extreme sun exposure, UV light, freezing temperatures and saunas for two weeks after the treatment.
Be sure that any tiny bumps or marks will go away in a few hours after your treatment. Results of your treatment make take up to 14 days to take full effect.
